Children should be able to decide what they want to eat and should not have regulations over their food decisions. Many might argue that children are not responsible enough to make healthy food decisions and this is a good point but many students are responsible and they should have the choice to eat what they want. If schools investigate these issues then they might find that they can create a better learning environment for students, which promotes creativity, along with expressing oneself, and enjoying the foods that they find appetizing.
In the end we are all born with rights and we should be able to make our own decisions as we grow up without schools demanding us to live our lives the way they want us to. So I challenge principals across the nation to take a look at these issues and attempt to change at least one thing about there school that will allow students to have a more enjoyable learning environment.
